Something new, something exciting
That’s all I ask from life every morning
And I am thankful that a blank slate, a loving mind,
Every day, that’s exactly what I find.
Yesterday’s anger that I might have vented,
All gone and no spirits dented.
These little hearts never hold grudges,
Aah, such great minds on such small benches.
These lovely smiles always inspire,
Their eyes have such huge dreams for which they aspire.
As soon as I enter, they greet me with their eyes lit up
And power of their innocent smiles charges me up.
Life is simple, life is beautiful
Life has become all about school, school, school.
Daily these kids make me enact so many fictions,
And just like that, life seems perfect with all its
imperfections!!!
